These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Vertex Appliance Repair, including our SMS messaging program. By scheduling a service or opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these terms.

1. SMS Messaging Program

Program Name: Vertex Appliance Repair Service Notifications
Description: Appointment confirmations, reminders, on-my-way notifications, and service updates related to your appliance repair appointments.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive messages when an appointment is scheduled, the day before your appointment, when your technician is on the way, and when service is complete. Typically 2–5 messages per service visit.

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

Supported Carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and most major U.S. carriers. Carrier support may vary.

To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply:

STOP — to unsubscribe from all messages

HELP — for help and support contact information

After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

2. Opt-In Consent

By providing your phone number and agreeing to receive SMS messages from Vertex Appliance Repair, you expressly consent to receive text messages at the number provided. You are not required to opt in as a condition of purchasing any services.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to schedule or receive appliance repair services.

3. Service Terms

Service Call Fee: A diagnostic/service call fee is charged for each visit. This fee covers the technician’s time to diagnose the appliance issue and is due regardless of whether repairs are completed.

Estimates: Repair estimates are provided before work begins. You will be asked to approve any additional costs beyond the diagnostic fee before parts are ordered or repairs are made.

Parts Warranty: Parts installed by Vertex Appliance Repair carry a 90-day warranty against defects by the respective manufacturers. Warranty coverage applies to the specific part replaced and does not cover new or unrelated failures.

Labor Warranty: Labor is warranted for 90 days from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within 30 days due to our workmanship, we will return to address it at no additional labor charge.

Appointment Cancellation: We ask for at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee at our discretion.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card information on our systems.

5. Limitation of Liability

Vertex Appliance Repair’s liability for any service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to food spoilage, property damage unrelated to our work, or losses arising from appliance downtime.

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions in appliances or for failures caused by factors outside our control including but not limited to power surges, water damage, or misuse.

6. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Utah County, Utah.
